Reading Teacher
September 2021 - April 2022
I worked at the English Language Center at Brigham Young University. I have taught reading courses at both the University Prep and Academic B levels. Following the guidelines set by the ELC, I have created my own courses and tests for these classes.
Online Teacher and Tutor
August 2019 - August 2021
Working both at Brigham Young University and at VIPKID, I worked with students ages 4-57 from all around the world. I taught classes of up 6 students and tutored and taught one-on-one. I taught reading, writing, and listening/speaking courses.
Curriculum Creator
July - August 2019, January 2020
On an internship in Ghana, I was assigned a variety of class settings and asked to create a curriculum for them. These ranged from evening adult classes for refugees to afterschool literacy classes for children.
At BrighamYoung Univerity-Hawaii, under the direction of Neil Anderson, I helped develop new materials to use for the Distance Learning Program.

I received my Masters in the TESOL program at BYU. During this time, I was able to complete all the necessry coursework, and worked closely with Dr. Norm Evans to complete my thesis project in curriculum development and organization.

September 2017 - April 2020
I received my Bachelor's Degree at BYU-H with a major in English, emphasis in TESOL. I was granted my TESOL certificate and worked with many renound professors and faculty.
